Product: You choose from name brand blank goods in numerous styles and price ranges.
Minimums: While we can sell blank products at no minimum quantity, all production orders must meet a minimum quantity of 6 pieces to be produced.
Additional Fees: If a design or digitized file is not completely ready for production, then design and digitizing fees will be charged at our discretion, thus requiring the time and knowledge of a highly skilled professional.
Artwork: We are happy to work with outside designers, agencies and design-oriented customers who wish to provide art and digitized embroidery files, so that additional fees can be
avoided. There are two parts to creating an embroidered image; the development of a
logo or graphic design, and the digitizing of that design to create a computer file that
instructs the embroidery machine what to sew. The quality of the artwork created and
ready for production directly affects the final look of the finished product.
Turn-Around: Standard turn-around time for embroidery is seven to ten business days; this period begins when all blank goods have been received at our location and the final art files have
been approved. Orders are subject to an additional charge based on our discretion for
items needed in a shorter amount of time.
Standard turn-around time for digitizing existing artwork is four business days.
Embroidery Guidelines
- For a typical left chest embroidery, the ideal design has a maximum dimension of 3.5” –
4.0”. There are exceptions when a design has one dimension that is several times larger
than the other. The size of many designs is dictated by the smallest text in the design.
We will size your design appropriately based on our experience.
- The smallest text we can embroider with any accuracy is about .20” high. We can make
adjustments to your design to compensate for slight variations. Typically, a single line of
text can only include about 30 characters and spaces before it requires the text to be split
into two lines.
- The maximum height for a headwear design is 2.10” high (less for visors). The width
may be as wide as 5” or even more. Embroidery on the side of a hat may be included at
no additional cost.
Colors
- Your embroidered logo may include up to ten (10) colors at no extra charge. We
rarely need that many, but will use as many colors as necessary to execute your design to
your satisfaction.
- If we have color art of your design, we will use the displayed colors to match our thread
to your logo. If you have particular PMS codes you specify, please furnish them and we
will match our thread accordingly. In either case, we will send you a proof for your
approval.
Embroidery Proof
- About one week after you place your order, we will e-mail you a scan of your actual
embroidered logo with its dimensions. This proof is sent to you for approval before we
proceed with production. Any changes you desire will be made and a revised proof will
be prepared and sent to you.
- Once you approve your design, your order is scheduled for production and should be
completed in seven to ten business days.
- If you prefer, you may request a pre-production sample. After we receive your e-mail
approval of the design, we will send you a sample of the garment with the actual
embroidery for your approval. Of course, this does delay the delivery of your order.
